        These general terms of sale (hereinafter “General terms”) apply to all the sales of products (hereinafter, “Products” or “Product”) purchased through the internet website (hereinafter “website”).

        Use of the remote sale service described in these General Terms is reserved exclusively to consumers (Hereinafter, “Customers” or the “Customer”), meant as physical persons who act for private purposes or purposes connected with any commercial, business or professional activity they carry out.

        The languages available for closing the contract are Italian, English and German.

        The protection of consumers in online sales is regulated by Legislative Decree no.206/05 of the Consumer Code and based on the provisions of art.68 of same, with the application of Legislative Decree 70/03 on e-commerce for anything not expressly covered therein.

        1. PRICES

         All prices are listed in Euro.   Product prices include VAT, they do not include transport costs, which are calculated according to the place of destination. Transport costs are listed in the section: “Transport costs” in the Terms of Sale or “TRANSPORT” (at the bottom of the page

        The Client’s purchases are covered by the legal guarantee of goods conformity set forth in articles 128 et seq.  of the Consumers’ Code”.


        1. PRODUCT ORDER

        The essential characteristics ad prices of the Products are shown in each Product offer. To purchase Products, Customers must select and complete the information requested in the cart section of the Valtermina website, in accordance with the instructions provided. Customers must place the Product in the cart and, after viewing the General Terms, especially with respect to delivery costs and method for exercising withdrawal rights, and the Privacy Policy, select the desired method of payment and click on “enter order”.

        Before entering an order, the Customer will have the possibility of correcting any mistakes in the data entered, using the editing procedure explained in the website. In particular, the Customer may edit the quantity of Products he or she wishes to purchase, adding or removing one ore more Products from the cart.
        By entering the order, the Customer is acknowledging and declaring that he or she has read all the information provided during the purchasing procedure and fully accepted the General Terms.

        Salumificio Valtermina reserves the right to evaluate whether the orders received can be accepted. Salumificio Valtermina will inform the Customer if an order received cannot be accepted within 72 hours calculated from the working day following the date on which the Customer sent the order to Salumificio Valtermina and shall refund any amounts already paid by the Customer for the goods.



         Payment is requested at the time of placing the order, the method of payment, i.e. with credit card, Paypal and Sofort is indicated in the website.



        1. Payment with CREDIT CARD, Paypal and Sofort.

         After the order is confirmed through the website, the customer will be redirected to one of the following sites:

        • Credit card: Moneta web through Banca Carisbo who will handle the online payment. The system supports the following credit cards VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB, American Express, Diners and uses all the existing safety protocols 3D Secure – Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and CV2 to guarantee total peace of mind in the payment process.
        • Paypal and Sofort process payments in accordance with their maximum security protocol.

        The data supplied for payment with credit card or bank account will be crypted and sent directly to the bank that will authorize the payment. No credit card or bank account (sofort) payment details will be sent to the website nor will they be stored in the archives of the website.

        Once the payment operation has been completed, the Customer is automatically directed to the Salumificio Valtermina S.n.C website to complete the order.



         The order is processed once the various intermediate technical phases have been completed and the total amount has been paid. Salumificio Valtermina will then send: order confirmation, purchase receipt complete with General Terms of the contract by email to the address entered in the order.



         A contract shall not be deemed closed between Salumificio Valtermina and the Customer, if Salumificio Valtermina has justified reasons to believe that the Customer is not operating out of an actual and genuine interest in the purchase of the products ordered, or is abusing the right of withdrawal.
        In said cases, the order sent by the Customer shall have no validity, Salumificio Valtermina shall send to the Customer an email message notifying the failed closure of the Contract and refund any charges and/or expenses borne by the Customer.


         Salumificio Valtermina, uses carriers such as BRT, SDA, and DHL for international deliveries and BRT or SDA in Italy, to deliver the products ordered by the Customer to the address indicated by the Customer in the purchase order.
        The objective of Salumificio Valtermina is to protect products at all times, ensuring perfect preservation throughout the trip: for this reason, dry ice is used for cooling, when necessary. Great care is also used in packing the products: polystyrene boxes are used to preserve products from sudden temperature change and accidental impact.

        Goods travel at our risk: however, we ask customers to help us by accepting packages with reservation if they are damaged.   On delivery, the customer must always check:
        a – that all the products that have actually been sent and invoiced are present;
        b – that the packages are intact.
        No complaints for missing products (compared to invoiced products) or for damaged products if the shipment was not accepted with reservation.
        We recommend you indicate a delivery address where someone is present at all times to receive the package and check its content and condition.

        1. DELIVERY TIME

         Deliveries are usually made on the working day following receipt of the order.
        In the summer (May to September),  to avoid products waiting in the heat in the carrier’s warehouses, shipments are made: on MondayTuesday and Wednesday for Italy; Monday and Tuesday for international deliveries.

         ITALY: the following carriers are used for domestic deliveries: SDA, BRT

        INTERNATIONAL: international deliveries are made by the following carriers:  SDA, BRT, DHL; delivery time depends on the place of destination, but it is usually 2-3 working days.  Once the goods have been shipped, the carrier will send an email or text message to the customer, with the waybill number, which can be used to track the goods online.





         Once you have entered an order, you have 24 hours to edit the order and change either the items or the delivery address.  Customers need to call +39 0521842662 and send an email to the following address:,  Please contact us as soon as possible to ensure you reach us before the goods are shipped.

         All purchases are registered and filed in paper registers.



         Salumificio Valtermina S.n.C guarantees that the products delivered will be exactly like the ones shown and described in the website and  will comply  with all the regulations regarding product preservation up to the time of delivery in the place indicated in the order. The manufacturer will be responsible for all the products sold. In case of packaged products, the manufacturer is also responsible for the truthfulness and completeness of the information on the package. The images present in the website are provided to enable the Customer to recognize the products; due to changes made to the packages by the manufacturer, the product shown in the photos may not be exactly the same as the product delivered.

        As provided by the  Consumer Code  Legislative Decree No. 206/05 (formerly right of withdrawal) and by Legislative Decree No. 21/2014,  Salumificio Valtermina  customers have the possibility of returning the products purchased  within 14 working days from delivery.

        1. Withdrawal procedure

        You need to send a letter, which according to Legislative Decree No. 185/99 must be by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt within 14 working days from delivery of the goods, to:

        In the message, customers must specify the product or products for which they intend to exercise their right of withdrawal.
        – According to Legislative Decree No. 185/99, the products must be returned within 14 working days from the date the goods were received,  and the products must be returned in  good condition and with the original labels in place.

        – Products must be packed carefully, to prevent the original packaging from getting damaged or having writing or labels on them.
        – Products must be returned by  express courier at the customer’s expense.
        – We recommend you  use a trackable and ensured method of transport as Salumificio Valtermina S.n.C will not be liable for loss, failed delivery or damage of the goods sent.
        – A refund for goods will be paid by  Salumificio Valtermina after the content and conditions of the products have been checked, within 14 days from receipt of the customer’s communication.  If goods are not returned to the Seller for the required checks, the 14 days for refund will be calculated from date of receipt of the goods (art. 56 Cons. Code). Pursuant to art 57 Consumer Code, once the returned product has been received, if the Seller notices that the goods have deteriorated or their value decreased due to causes linked to the customer’s negligence, the latter may be considered responsible for the decreased value.
        Salumificio Valtermina S.n.C shall completely refund the costs incurred by the  customer for the purchase, the amount will credited with the same payment method used by the customer. The only expenses borne by the customer are those paid for returning the product.

Salumificio Valtermina informs Customers that alternative out-of-court methods exist for the resolution of disputes through a neutral, qualified third person belonging to a relevant Body (referred to as Conciliation Body) who will decide not only on the basis of legal provisions but also according to equity, without this affecting the level of protection guaranteed by the application of the law.
